OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY

OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND IMPLEMENTATION OF STATUTORY REQUIREMENTS AS DEFINED BY THE WORKER PROTECTION ACT

As employer, you are obligated to determine and evaluate work-related hazards and stresses and to take the required measures for reducing or preventing such hazards and stresses. Where more than 49 people are employed, a safety officer must be appointed for this task.

The safety officers of STM Unternehmensberatung GmbH are your partner for all matters related to occupational safety. We will help you meet your responsibilities with regard to the safety and health protection of your employees.

The topic of occupational protection is however not limited to the implementation of individual regulations in companies but also extends to the safety and health protection of the employees as a contribution to the company’s success in all corporate activities, structures and processes and is part of corporate strategies, company management and company organisation.

Together with our experts in the various specialist areas and your medical officer, we will support you in

  1. the basic evaluation and legally compliant preparation of safety and health protection documents
  2. the determination and assessment of occupational accident and health risks as well as health promotion factors; this in particular involves the identification, analyses, assessment and documentation of risks caused by physical, chemical and biological health and stress factors as well as through physical and mental – including psychosocial – stresses for the employees
  3. the design of safe, healthy and humane work systems

We develop action plans for you with specific targets and requirements which – in compliance with the assessed risks – are based on the ranking of the evaluated measures. On this basis, we will also advise you on workplace design, the selection and use of machines, devices, systems and work materials and on the design of work organisation and assignments.
To ensure safe conditions on a permanent scale, we will attentively monitor you work systems. A continuous improvement process will help develop an appropriate organisation (of the structure and processes in your company). The ongoing evaluation of the actual status and the further development ensure that safety and health protection become part of your corporate culture and contribute to the success of your company.
